Partial lunar eclipse was observed late Thursday night, Aaj News reported. According to the channel, the partial eclipse was visible throughout Pakistan, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Brazil and Australia. Some parts of Canada and the US also got glimpse of this lunar eclipse.

According to the statement of Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission the partial lunar eclipse lasted for an hour. A partial lunar eclipse occurs when the moon is partially darkened by the Earth's shadow.
